Overview
Lake Bogoria lies on the floor of the Rift valley approximately 265 km from Nairobi. Scientist’s belief it was first discovered by Bishop James Hannington from Uganda in 1885 on the way to his diocese through Thomson route. The lake has numerous sprouting geysers hence volcanically active. Lake Bogoria is having the highest number of true geysers in the continent, with massive flocks of pink Flamingoes. Lake Bogoria has close to 200 hot springs onshore and others discharge directly from the floor. The lake contains the blue -green algae, which attract the flamingoes seasonally.
Itinerary
On arrival at the Airport or from your Nairobi hotel proceed south to arrive at the camp/hotel by lunch time after a 5 hrs. drive, check in to refresh and rest for a few hrs. before going out for the afternoon game drive, special animals like kudus,gerenuk,hunting dogs among other residents like the red elephants,zebras,impalas,cheetahs and lions are been seen here.Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Early morning game drive at Tsavo East before driving back to the camp for your full breakfast,later check out to proceed to Tsavo west with game drive en route, arriving by midday to the camp/hotel for lunch and check in, rest before the afternoon game drive at 16:00 hrs. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Early morning breakfast, check out with game drive en route before exiting the park at 10:00 hrs to proceed to Amboseli, this is the day you visit the Mzima springs at Tsavo west, arrive at Amboseli by lunch hour, check in and rest before the afternoon game drive at 16:00 hrs, Dinner and overnight at the camp/hotel.
Depart from the camp/hotel after early breakfast and proceed to Naivasha via Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch, check in before heading to Hells gate National Park or aboard a boat at the lake combined with a visit to crescent highland. Dinner and overnight at the camp/hotel.
Leave L.Naivasha after breakfast and proceed to L.Bongoria arriving at the hotel for lunch and check in, later afternoon visit to the lake to see the beautiful African flamingos with a visit to the hot springs, other animals like zebras, kudus, gazelles and ostriches are seen here.overnight and dinner at the hotel.
Start the day with early morning visit to the lake Bogoria to catch up with sunrise at the horizon with the flamingos in front of you, later return for full breakfast before checking out to head to L.Nakuru arriving at the camp/hotel with a small game drive for lunch and check in, at 16:00 game drive to the park in search of white Rhinos, Rothschild giraffe, waterbucks among other residents. Dinner and overnight at the same hotel/camp.
After early breakfast head to masaimara via Narok town which is the Maasai capital for 6hrs drive to arrive in time for lunch, check in with a few hrs. Of rest before afternoon game drive at 16:00 hrs, spend 2 hrs of wildlife viewing and photography at this vast plain of the savannah. Dinner and overstay at the camp/hotel.
Leave the camp/hotel at 07:00 hrs after breakfast with packed lunch to spend the day at the game reserve, this gives you an opportunity to see many animals as you can with a visit to Mara River; picnic is served in the middle of the park plain giving a life time experience. Dinner and overnight at the camp/hotel.
After breakfast check out and proceed to Nairobi arriving after midday for lunch or drop off to your respective hotel or you are transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home.
