Pick up from the Coastal hotel or Airport in the morning and head to Tsavo East National Park, a drive of 3–4 hours depending on the location of the camp/lodge. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya being the home to most of the large mammals, vast herds of dust-red elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser kudu, gerenuk (giraffe gazelle). Check in and stay at Ashnil Aruba, or Sentrim Hotel or Voi Safari Lodge at full board. At 16:00 hrs head out for afternoon game viewing within the park.

Start the day with early morning game drive at Tsavo East before the main breakfast. This time of the day is always promising as most animals are active. Most cats like cheetahs, lions, serval cats and even wild dogs and black-backed jackals can be spotted during these cool hours. After breakfast, check out and head to Amboseli for check-in and overnight stay at AA Lodge, Oltukai Lodge, Kibo Tented Camp or Sentrim Hotel depending on the client’s choice. The big game dominates the landscape with the beauty of Mt. Kilimanjaro on the horizon. After a short rest, start the afternoon game drive at 16:00 hrs with large herds of elephants moving out of the swamp.
