Overview
Lake Bogoria lies on the floor of the Rift valley approximately 265 km from Nairobi. Scientist’s belief it was first discovered by Bishop James Hannington from Uganda in 1885 on the way to his diocese through Thomson route. The lake has numerous sprouting geysers hence volcanically active. Lake Bogoria is having the highest number of true geysers in the continent, with massive flocks of pink Flamingoes. Lake Bogoria has close to 200 hot springs onshore and others discharge directly from the floor. The lake contains the blue -green algae, which attract the flamingoes seasonally.
Itinerary
On arrival at the Airport or from your Nairobi hotel proceed to the north to arrive at the camp/hotel by lunch time after a 6 hrs. drive, check in to refresh and rest for a few hrs. before going out for the afternoon game drive, special animals like kudus,gerenuk,hunting dogs among other residents like the red elephants,grevy zebras,impalas,cheetahs and lions are been seen here.Dinner and overnight at the camp.
This place is usually very warm during the day,we recommend early morning drive or early breakfast then head out until 11:00 hrs ,then drive back to the camp to relax until the cool hrs of the afternoon,usually16:00 hrs,this day you will have enough time to enjoy the special wildlife of this place and the amazing land scape,this is also the best day to visit the local community, Dinner and overstay at the camp
Start the day with early morning game drive,then return to the camp for main breakfast before checking out for Olpajeta Conservancy which is two hrs away,at Olpajeta you check in with a game drive enroute before checking in for lunch,in the afternoon head out for a drive in seach of both the black and white Rhinos,lions plain zebras,Girrafes,chetahs,jackles,among other residents.Dinner and overnight at Olpajeta.
Start the day with morning break fast before heading out to explore more residents of this area with a visit to the Chimpanzee protected area, then go back for your lunch and some afternoon rest before heading out again at 16:00 hrs,this time you combine your drive with a visit to the Moran museum to see Baraka the blind Rhino.Dinner and overnight at Opajeta.
Leave Olpajeta after breakfast and proceed to L.Naivasha arriving at the hotel for lunch and check in, later afternoon visit to the lake to see the beautiful Bird life surrounding the lake with a visit to the crescent like island for the walking safari, animals like zebras, giraffes, gazelles and ostriches are seen here.overnight and dinner at the hotel.
After breakfast check out and proceed to Amboseli,expected time to Amboseli is 6 hrs,after arrival check in to your hotel/camp for lunch and afternoon rest before heading out for evening drive at 16:00 hrs,this park is famous for massive elephants in large heards,the lonely standing tall mountain in Africa and also in the continent,the Kilimanjaro,also other species like,buffalos,zebras,antelopes,gazzeles,hoppos,ostriches,lions,chetahs,and many more exist here.later spend your night in the camp/hotel.
Start your day wit breakfast at the Camp before heading out for long hours drive within the park,this is the day you explore all parts of the park with a chance to spot out abundant wildlife,later return to to camp for overnight stay.
Leave the camp/hotel at 07:00 hrs after breakfast and head to Tsavo arriving in time for lunch and check in,later heas out to look for the animal residents of this vast wild life ecosystem with large heards of red soiled Elephants,Oryx,lions,zebras,among manynmore.
Dinner and overnight stay at the Camp.
After breakfast check out and proceed to Nairobi arriving in the after noon midday for a drop off to your respective hotel or you are transferred to the airport to catch your flight back home.
